2nd Timothy states, "for God has not given us a spirit of Timidity ; but of power, of love and of a sound mind." This verse en-compasses the mission of SJY. SJY endeavors to find ways to embrace the spirit of love that God has given us. We do this by serving the community in various ways. This month we will be serving breakfast to the homeless at the Ronald McDonald House. In April we will participate in building a house through Habitat for Humanity. We also strive to find ways to enhance the spirit of sound mind by utilizing creative ways to understand the bible. We do this weekly at Youth group and monthly through the prayer breakfast. |
